just the job
Just the job - easy on batteries - adequate resolution - fits in your pocket - auto flash works a treat (watch for close up bleaching)and with 64Mb compact flash would keep David Bailey happily snapping away till he got the right shot - the dogs whatnots (at the price paid!!).

Get one now!
I love it! I have tested nearly all the budget digitals under £100 and this one was my choice and beats all the competition by far. pictures are crisp and clean and can be zoomed a couple of times before pixels can be seen so framing of pics after is possible. I have put in a 32mb flash card which gives 180 photos on the highest setting (you can pick up a cf card for around £30) enough for any holiday! (nearly 700 on the lowest setting!) small, well built, solid what more can I say!

Great value - superb results - very small
This is a must have if you are toying with the idea of a digital camera and wonder what the fuss is about... is a great deal for the spec. It can produce 1.3 megapixel pictures, is very small, very light and easy to use too. I took this on holiday for two weeks, these are my thoughts after that. Battery life - I use NiMh rechargable batteries and one pair lasted the whole time (including lots of flash etc). Memory - I bought a 64mb flash card for 30 pounds that holds nearly 400 photos at 1.3mp. Use - so easy it is laughable. Blurry shots - a few, but nothing software couldn't sort in a flash. Output - indoor is good, outdoor in the sun is stunning. Software - Photowise is quite good, the rest is poor, but not needed. I use Photoshop 6 as soon as the pictures are on the computer and that is great, but Photowise will do all of the necessary work. Overall - lack of zoom means that you need to think more about how shots are focused and framed (including how far away the subject is). If you compare the results to a straightforward point and shoot film camera, you will not be disappointed. If you are looking to completely replace a film camera, you may want to go for a unit with a zoom and 2-3mp. As a cheap and easy way of getting good quality pics into a PC, this is a winner.

Reasonable performance at a bargain price
I've only had the camera a few days, but I'm very pleased with it. It is small, simple and produces reasonable quality photos. I am still on my first set of batteries and the USB connection is fast and does not drain the camera's internal power supply.
As a web cam its excellent.
I am used to silver halide cameras and so the lack of a LCD screen for picture previews is not a problem, if it exends battery life its an asset!
I await the arrival of a 64MB compact flash card as the 1 MB on board memory is pityful and only enough for 6 pictures in highest resolution.
The flash range is small but if adhered to it produces good results, outside results are better that I had expected.
My priorities were :- Price, Picture quality, Small size.
This camera delivers what I want.

Fantastic little camera, bargain price.
I bought this camera from Amazon back around June of last year.
It has taken the best part of a year before I have seen another 1.2MP camera for under £100. I fully agree with your other viewer who said that outdoor sunshine shots are fantastic. I've taken it on three holidays (July 01 - Venice; Oct 01 - Sardinia; and Mar 02 - Salzburg)and it was perfect. Pocket sized, simple to use, simple to buy batteries for (AA sized), and simple to download once you return. I've used Duracell Ultra M2 batteries, which were OK for one week holidays.
Have also used it for Web meetings with friends who spent 8 months in New Zealand.
The wife (bless her!) even dropped it whilst we were standing at a hotel reception, onto a marble floor, with no damage.
To sum up, a cracking little point and shoot digital camera, perfect for holidays.
