Reliable drive
(4 out of 5) by Niall on May 27, 2001 (Ireland)I bought this drive when I had Windows 98. Iomega claims that it doesn't work with Windows ME or 2000, but after upgrading to 2000, it works perfectly, no special drivers needed. Apparantly, only the bundled software is incompatible with Windows 2000, but if like me you use Nero anyway, it's great - use it on home PC and laptop trouble-free. The only problem is its 4-speed write rating, but I suppose it's probably pushing USB to the limit.

my heart stoped when i saw how good it was
(4 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Jan 14, 2001Ow my head still hurts from when it bumped the table as i fainted from the sheer speed and brilliance of this rewriter. As soon as i had started it had finished i thought i would be sitting there for hours but it was mear minuets. this is well worth the cash to anyone who is thinking of buying a cd rewriter. I only gave it four stars though because it dident come in red. chris pleass a very happy man
