Just what I was hoping for

(5 out of 5) by J. Foster on Oct 19, 2009 (Deeeeetroit, Michigan)
This is an excellent cover for my Kindle 2. I prefer to read my kindle "naked", so I was looking for a cover that was sharp-looking, not bulky, with easy access to my kindle. This cover makes the grade on all counts. I can carry it around, even upside down, with no fear of the Kindle falling out. But it is very easy to pull the kindle out (tip: squeeze the sides every-so-slightly when you pull the Kindle and it slides right out). Highly recommended.

Excellent Kindle sleeve

(5 out of 5) by S. Sax on Nov 12, 2009 (San Francisco, CA USA)
This is the fourth case or sleeve I have tried for the Kindle. This is by far the best at a reasonable price. The device fits snuggly without being too tight to pull out or slide in easily. It seems well made, durable, stiff enough to protect the screen and an attractive color. Not sure yet how it will hold up with constant use... but the odds seem good that it will be fine.

Really good product

(5 out of 5) by howboy on Nov 2, 2009 (NYC)
I read a lot in bed before sleep, so I use the Kindle without a cover-at it's lightest. The Octo cover works perfectly for me. It's thin enough that I can easily slip it into a coat pocket or cargo shorts pocket if I want to take the Kindle with me when I'm out. Kindle never slips out of the Octo cover, yet it's very easy to remove the reader. The cover also weighs next to nothing. I'm very pleased with this purchase., and glad I went the simple route.

Better Choice than the Amazon cover

(5 out of 5) by Matthew M. Burgener on Oct 23, 2009 (Charlotte, NC USA)
I chose this cover because I too like to use the Kindle without any attachments on it (ie "bare"). But it is important to have protection when you take it with you or have it in your laptop bag. The case is very simple, straightforward and works exactly as I hoped. The Kindle slides in and out easily but won't slip out. The leather is very smooth. I am very pleased with my choice. Now I just have to decide whether to give this same case to my relatives as a gift (with their new Kindles) or go with the traditional Amazon cover!

Just what I wanted

(5 out of 5) by Jonathan Sessions on Nov 21, 2009 (Columbia, MO)
I like my products to work naked. I don't have a cover for my iPhone, iPod, MacBook Pro, or anything else I use. I like to use things as they were meant to be used. I don't like fussing with cases. That said, I keep my Kindle2 in my work bag along with my computer, cables, files, and whatever else I end up carrying. I was worried about the screen. I got this case, because it wasn't made to stay on the Kindle2 while I use it. It slides in, slides out, and protects my Kindle2 while in my bag. It's low profile, so it doesn't take up much more space than the Kindle by itself, and I can tell it's protecting my Kindle rolling around in my bag.

I love it, it was exactly what I was looking for.
