What a treat this satchel is.

I was wondering just what to do with my mini 10 inch Assus. It came with a zipper sleeve that covered it but thats about all it did. Then I purchased a travel bag sort of pocketbook that did offer great protection when I am traveling ---but frankly I hated to drag it around the house and to the car everyday.

This Brenthaven Switch Satchel solved all of those problems instantly.

First of all the dimensions of this bag is just perfect. The mini slides in and out with ease The total padding keeps it safe NO MATTER WHAT !!

There is an additional zippered pocket in front of the main compartment for the computer. I keep a pen and a small bound book which has information I may need always easily at hand. The zipper keeps it secure--it will not drop out even if the bag is dropped or on tilt in some manner.

The shoulder strap is a dream. I am a tall person...and still this strap is comfortable and can be made long enough to even suit me. ITS BUCKLE DESIGN allows it to be a short or long length without much fuss and bother.This in my estimation is a BIG BIG PLUS !!! I have often had to return bags because the shoulder strap wasn't suitable for me.

The fabric used to make the outer is TOUGH !! Its gonna take the airport...the back seat....the cafe Internet...the gym...and where ever your going to be where any sort of dirt or dust may be around.The flap can be turned around for another color...but for me--I am happy with it just as it is....but if it ever got soiled I would use this feature to have the other side forward.

This is the bag for ya--if you have a mini 7" ,8" or 10 ".

This handsome bag is perfect for netbook carriers - men and women alike. I like it because it has enough space for my netbook and pockets for my wallet and other essentials, so I can carry it without needing to carry my purse as well. My husband likes it because it doesn't look "girlie." :)

The bag is well made - the straps are sturdy and the fabric easily cleaned. The flip-front flap is unique and nice in that you can give the bag a whole different look just by "flipping and clipping."

The Brenthaven Switch Satchel for Netbooks of 7 to 10 Inches is one sturdy and hearty netbook bag. And it's cute too!

I have an ASUS Eee 8.9 inch netbook and it fits so neat and snug inside the Brenthaven switch satchel that I am sure it would survive being dropped on the ground. The only downside was that the computer fit so tightly into the space provided that there was barely enough room for the power cord. To alleviate this problem, I put the power cord into the satchel first and then my netbook -- alas, problem solved.

The satchel's colors can also be changed by removing the messenger flap and then turning it over and easily reattaching it. The arm strap is long enough to be comfortable and then you can turn around and adjust it to place the bag closer to your shoulder.

The material of the satchel is very durable and doesn't look like it would stain, rip, or become damaged without serious abuse.

Love this bag -- it is the only one I am using with my netbook at this time.

I LOVE this bag! The first impression both my husband and I had when we took this bag out of the box is that it was STURDY! I went through a number of laptop protector cases in the store a couple years back to search for something that would protect my laptop against the crush of heavy law school textbooks and nothing I found was nearly as well padded as the netbook compartment of this satchel. And because the little messenger flap can be disconnected to switch to either tan or gray (both of which look really nice), you can remove it altogether and use the satchel as a protective case and it easily goes into a backpack without much excess bulk. (That's what's also amazing about it as a satchel. Most netbook users choose netbooks to rid themselves of excess bulk and weight. Brenthaven keeps this fact in mind and designed it to be as slim as possible without sacrificing protective quality.)

The satchel includes a small zippered compartment in front; a ring to attach keys; pencil compartments; and another open pocket. The back of the satchel has a narrow pocket that closes with velcro and a little carrying handle. My only wishes for this satchel: a)that I could fit my wallet into it (then again, my wallet is huge and that would sacrifice the slim/light nature of the satchel); and b)that the adjustable shoulder strap was removable altogether.

It fits my ASUS 10.1-Inch Netbook perfectly, but you'll have a trickier time fitting the power cord in there with it. Not impossible, but it'll make the bag bulky.
