I purchased the IMP-500, because my I-Touch's battery life would only last 2-3 hours, MAX. With the IMP-500, I plug it into my I-Touch, and after 30 minutes, I have a fully charged I-Touch.The great feature about the IMAX, is that you can still use the device you are charging, and it still charges the battery in 30 minutes. If you have other devices that use either a micro-usb, or a regular usb, or a PSP, you can charge these devices as well.My friend purchased one for his Blackberry, and has never been happier, knowing that he doesn't have to charge his battery for days. That is the beauty of this device. On a full charge, you can use it for many, many hours,without charging it.
