Takes about 5 hours to charge and it does not charge when you have the iphone in there, you gotta charge them separately.
Putting the iphone in and out of the case it's a little cumbersome, but once it's in it fits perfectly. It's just that you need to grab the iphone from the sides and then you keep pressing the volume and the ringer off button.
I put my iphone into the case, launch my MotionGPS application and kept it running. It lasted 5 hours and 45 minutes. It definitely doubled my battery life.
For the price, it seems to be an awesome product, and if you charge it overnight who cares that it takes 5 hours.
Regarding the signal, I haven't noticed the signal bars dropped.
Let's hope it keeps working the same way for months.

This unit discharges while it's sitting in my bag--useless!!

Adequate enuff

I bought it so I could play 18 holes of golf using the GolfLogix GPS application without the battery dying and it does that well. I think it would be clumsy to use any other time though, but it serves the purpose that I bought it for ... after 18 holes (nearly 5 hours) I still have a full charge on my iPhone battery, it drains the external battery first which is a nice touch. 5 stars.

Not the slimest or greatest thing to carry on the phone full time but a life saver if you just keep it charged in your glove box or something and when u need it put it on! great buy!

She was pretty happy with it =) The shipping was not as fast as the first time but i was still very happy because it arrived in time for her Birthday! The battery pack fits well and really extends the energy of the phone.
