Cancel your cable subscription - watch everything online!
I've been looking for a way to watch Hulu and other online content streamed from my pc to my tv (so that I can watch stuff with the wife and friends). I didn't want to have a cable cluttering up our room. This adapter is really awesome. Totally does the job.
Setup was easy and the product works so well that within a couple of days we have totally begun to take it for granted. Our tv viewing now consists of browsing the web, choosing a program and hitting play.
Can't wait for audio (which is the only drawback at the moment) although I read that it is coming.

Wow!
I am so impressed with the product. You literally plug and play just as the instructions show. However, I did have some (user error) difficulties. I went to the Warpia website and emailed technical support with my problem and my telephone #. Almost immediately Marc called me. We did some trouble shooting and fixed the issue within minutes (The issue: I removed the device adapter from the video base and put it back in and then it worked just fine). Afterwards, Marc walked me through some of the features which I was not expecting but really appreciated.
The display is crisp and clean with no glitches or breaking. Audio is not included in this version but it's all good. I hook up my Monsoon speakers and I feel like I'm at the movies.
On another note, this will make an excellent gift for my mother! It's inexpensive and I'm sure she'll appreciate being able to see on the big screen.
In closing, the set up is easy and the customer service is fast and friendly. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to display their PC to their HD television without all of the messy wires.

Nice solution
I have been using the Warpia set for about a week and am pleased with the performance. Set up was pretty easy and having the HDMI capability was important to me. They say 30 feet for distance but I would keep it closer if possible, especially for video. It does very well with no lag from distances of 15-20 feet without a problem. I also like that this product doesn't have the potential interference that you can get with similar wireless options that use wifi (802.11) frequencies.
One point that I have noticed since initially posting this review is that the video streaming works much better in the "extended" desktop mode versus the "mirror" mode. In mirror mode, some frames get lost and it looks a little choppy. Other than that, I am very pleased. Thanks

Awesome Product
Works great, took less than a minute to set up initially. Couple of things you need to know, though. For really good 720P video, you need to read the manual and change some of your notebook settings. I guess most laptops are not automatically set up for good video, so you have to set your settings right, like if you operating on battery, you need to set the mode to max performance or even wathcing video just on your screen doesn't work well, nevermind wirlessly. I never really thought about that one before. Other things, watch full screen video in the extend mode (not mirror mode). Looks much better. Mirror seems to drop a few frames here and there in full screen. I have Vista, so I had to enable Aero mode so movies play better, again an OS thing. On some sites like youtube, full screen did not seem to work. Again, looked in the manual and you have to right click on the video and disable hardware acceleration. After doing all this stuff (really only took a few minutes of reading the right section of the manual and making the changes), full screen video is working great. It would have been nice if had pop up messages as these things happen, but that is hoping for too much. Wish it had audio also, but I am using a blue tooth audio adaptor I already have for my stereo and it works well. Distance is great in my large family room even with 720p but you do have to use line of site not to drop any framees at further distances. I really like this thing since there is no other convenient way to do this. I would love to have one in our conf room at work too.

Nice Device
Very Easy to install. Quality is good. My daughter and I use it to project MLB.TV from laptop to 52". Look forward to the Audio portion on next rev.
