Not a great buy when you consider the speed

(2 out of 5) by Allan M. Gathercoal on Dec 1, 2009 (Norcross, GA)
I bought this flash because of the HP name and the reviews that touted the speed of the drive. I found the drive to be slow, too slow for me. I needed to move 10GB of photos from my harddrive to the HP and it took 1 hour and 8 minutes! I used Check Flash 1.09 which scopes the speed of Flash Drives and this drive came in at 4.6mbs write and 12.3mbs read. Another source you might want to check out is on the web -- xbitlabs (search 32GB USB Flash Drives), they tested flash drive's speed. So, when you consider that for $5 more you can get the fast OCZ Rally2 16 GB (which I ended up doing) you may concur that there are better drives out there for the money. Hope this helps you in your choice.

Fast, reliable, hassel-free

It's spacious, fast and reliable. It doesn't come with pre-installed software which means its ready to be used the moment you connect it to your computer. It is priced reasonable and I highly recommend it.

excellent drive

(5 out of 5) by Alexander N. Li on Oct 21, 2009 (Gilbert, AZ)
Loved this one! I plug this drive into so many different pc and they all recognized the drive instantly wihtout any issue. The drive speed is very good. Best of all, to eject the drive just right mouse click and eject! One of the best usb drive I have used so far.

Easy and lots of space.

Good basic drive. Tons of storage. Strap hole is a little small. But over all great deal for the price. Got four!

I like it

I just received the HP USB flash drive, I am adding a higher capacity drive to my previous Lexar "Jump Drives".
The first thing I noticed is how much faster it transfers data than my Jump Drives. Don't get me wrong, Lexar drives are good, solid, long lasting drives but the transfer speed of the HP is immediately noticeable.
Since I just got it, I will have to see how long it last's.
