Good Product!
I got this for my boyfriend's birthday after he went through 3 other FM transmitters that didn't work. This product has been the best one so far. It's easy to work and find channels. Good sound. The only real complaint is that he can't use his case anymore and it looks like it's wanting to fall off his iphone when he picks it up or moves to much.

GET THIS,,, IT WORKS!!!
Really cool item... Fantastic for iPhone.. Had the original one without presets which was pretty decent.. This one is great!!! I took the four presets and set them to open frequencies in my area (easy to find on the web),, married them with the first 4 FM2 presets on my car radio and was rolling... Took it out today and drove from Northwest Indiana to NE Illinois static free and did not need to change stations even once. Does not come up with the annoying "this device not compatible to iPhone" message,, just plug it in and go.. Also comes with a cigarette lighter adaptor.. The best, by far, of many of this type of product I have tried...

Great, if you like static and pops
I bought this unit based on the reviews on this site, but I should have paid more attention. They generally say that this unit is great, compared to other FM transmitters. It's a relative thing, though. I would be tempted to say that it would work well if you lived out in the middle of the desert, with no FM stations broadcasting for hundreds of miles, but I can't even say that much. The signal is so weak that even a hint of another transmitter on any given station is enough to overwhelm this unit. I plugged it in, and found out very quickly that no matter what station I set it for, simply moving around the car was enough to disrupt the signal. I would reach to turn on the windshield wipers, and let the static and pops begin! At best you have to know the best freq to transmit on, and even then you have to tweak and fiddle around until you hit that magic sweet spot. Yes, that's what I want to do, spend time sitting in my car getting my FM transmitter to work. And if you drive a few miles in any direction, be prepared to play find-the-empty-frequency all over again. Using this thing on long trips would be a nightmare.
But let's go off into the land of make-believe and pretend that this wasn't a problem, and that the signal was as clear as a bell (it never is). Even then it's like listening to your grandfather's short wave radio, the signal is so weak. Everything comes out tinny and devoid of any depth whatsoever. Remember those electronics kits you used to buy for kids to make their own FM transmitter? Yeah, it's just like listening to one of those, only without all the fun of having put it together yourself.
So, in summation, if you want to listen to your favorite music as though it were filtered through a highly unstable AM talk radio station, this is the unit for you! Personally, I don't care to buy a bunch of different FM transmitters for my iPhone, just so I can come to the conclusion that this is the best of them all, so I will just assume that they are all junk and buy a new car stereo with an aux in port.
