I am very pleased with this light! The low watt, cool bulbs have a close to sunlight balance that makes it ideal for painting studio lighting as well as a digital photography light. It doesn't get blastingly hot like most photo lights and yet it gives off the equivalent of 360 watts with only 72 watts used.

Highly Recommended
I was really surprised by how much light these lamps produce. The light stand is solidly contructed with a variety of adjustment options.

Great Value
I wanted continueous lighting because my studio was just too dark for me to focus well, even with a good flash attached to the camera.
The light stands are outstanding, much stronger than my old ones!
The light sockets (the parts you see in the pictures) seem a bit light-duty to me.
Attaching the reflector to the lamp base was a bit difficult as the screw holes didn't line up. The light socket base feels lite duty. Mine were bent when I took them out of the boxes, but I could reshape the base with my fingers - the metal is just a little heavier than the metal on a Coke can.
The light produced is bright and white and the shower-cap type diffuser works well.
To repeat: The tripod light holder stand is outstanding, the lamp meets minimum requirements. I would buy these lights again - no buyer's remorse!
