I ordered this camera on Saturday, it was shipped Monday, and arrived Wednesday in perfect condition. Well packed, everything as it should be in the package. The price was very good for everything you got. The little tripod is small, but very utilitarian, and as an added bonus also works with my Sony H10.

I wanted this little camera to supplement my H10 for some west coast scenery shots that I may enlarge and put on canvas. This camera fits easily into the palm of my hand, and can be tucked into my larger camera's case.

The camera worked perfectly and since I already had the software loaded, I was able to see results immediately.

The camera is easy to use, easy to understand, and takes great pictures. It is quite small, and you'll be able to put in a purse or pocket. I love the dark blue color, and the front has a "microridge" kind of surface (feels a little like the ridges on a plastic Fresnel lens), which provides a non slippery surface to prevent your fingers from sliding off. The dark silver trim complements the camera nicely.

Yes, you'll have to use lens protectors and/or keep lens cleaner handy, because the minute you touch the back screen, it smudges. The screen is bright enough to see in daylight, which is good (because there is no viewfinder).

The Amazon price for this camera package is a good one--Target sells this camera for $250 without any extras. I haven't used it at night, but I think it will be okay or I'll be able to figure out how to get to where I want it.

You already know this is a great camera. When you walk around with it in "easy" mode, the camera constantly adjusts to distance and lighting. All of my pictures turned out great. The camera has 11MB of internal memory. You must have a memory stick to use this camera. At 4000x3000 pixels, the images will be about 5MB each. You'll only get two on the internal memory.

This package of camera, case, memory stick, extra battery, 4.5" tripod, screen protectors, separate battery charger, camera cleaner, and USB 2.0 stick reader is really worth it. Ace delivered very promptly. The camera case is a snug fit. I put the screen protector on perfectly and, as put it in the case, the screen protector became caught on the soft inside of the case and wrinkled. A minor problem but unfortunate. There is a small pocket on the front of the case. An extra battery will fit in it, but that isn't what it is designed for.

I am very pleased with this purchase.

What a great and affordable camera. It's so easy to use and the photos are beyond wonderful. I highly recommend this product and this company who sells it.

I am very Happy with Sony W290. I had compared the features of W300. surprisingly Sony has reduced the number of features in W300 as compared to W290 and also the optical zoom is reduced in W300 to 3X from 5X. I still need to explore a bit to get good pictures in night. Overall am happy with the product.

Lastly, one of the Battery in the Package is not working properly. Not sure whether i will get a new battery.

A great camera with lots of easy to use features. It has a good wide angle lens that allows you to get those great scenery shots.
