I bought this item. I only picked up two channels at my place. I am in the West LA area, and only had access to a spanish channel and religious channel. I don't mind the first, I love spanish soaps. The reality of this is I actually pick up 5 more channnels with a wire hanger!!! I am planning to return this today.

I brought this as my replacement antenna after I gave the Terk antenna to my mom. Being a passive (no power source) antenna, I didn't expect it to pull in nearly 40 channels (NYC, >5 miles from broadcast tower, top floor in a 6 flr building) like the Terk did. But I didn't expect it to pull in only about 1/2 that. What's worse is it doesn't even pull in CW network. Good thing I don't watch anything from that channel.

I like the design though. Its flat, super stable, and you can hang it on a wall (with wall hooks underneath). With this white antenna on a white wall, it almost turns invisible. Since it only has 1 wire, it is easy to hide it so it doesn't ruin your decor.

Great antenna if it had better reception.

This antenna is a great product, especially for the price. I replaced a $30 GE antenna that needed a power connection, which was absolutely useless. I got only two channels. This one gives me all HD channels that are available locally. The color and look are great, unlike the others with rabbit ears and rings. This will attach to a wall or a window without standing out.

I am very pleased with this product. I painstakingly read every review of every un-powered digital antenna. I labored over my choice and finally chose this RCA AMT 1400. It was shipped promptly to my home. I opened the box, unscrewed my bunny-ears, and screwed this antenna into my digital TV. With about a minute and a half of effort (including re-scanning my channels), I gained six more channels, and finally tuned in one that never quite came in correctly. Geez, I haven't even played with its positioning. The product looks nice, has a low profile, doesn't require a space on my already filled outlets, and had a very fair price. Now I'm just wondering if the new channels I get are worth wasting my already precious time.

I've orderd this antena from Amazon and for less then 13$.It works for me.Ilive in Chicago area and I missing Ch2 only.
