It's very handy, and it works very well

Kingston Technology is one of the foremost manufacturers of computer memory modules. The DataTraveler 100 is series of flash drives, coming in 1, 2, 4 and this 8GB capacity. The case of the drive is a sturdy plastic, giving the drive a solid feel. Now, the coolest thing about this flash drive is that the USB port slides in and out of it, meaning that you will never again lose the protective cap. I found the speed at which the drive works to be quite good.

So, if you wish to tote around a flash drive, then I recommend you get this Kingston DataTraveler 100. With its no-cap design it is very handy, and it works very well. Admittedly, I am not a computer geek, but I know what I like, and I really like this flash drive.

Good Ergonomics, Fast and Touble free

(5 out of 5) by Kip on Jul 13, 2009 (Reseda, CA United States)
This product has good ergonomics. It seems to be faster than my previous USB drives. I have no problem with it to date. Packaging is good if you only order one at a time. I ordered two of these and they came in two separate packages in a bigger box with other of my items :)

Just Works

Great size and fast. Works great on macs as well as PCs(as long as you format it correctly). No issues and have been very happy. I also like the sliding access that pops the contact end out.

Kingston Data Traveler 100 - 8 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive

(3 out of 5) by Judy L. Chapman on Sep 17, 2009
I have not yet used this device, but assume that everything will be fine. I was a bit dismayed by the condition of the package when it arrived - the package was open, there was no paperwork in the package, etc. I am amazed that the Data Traveler was still in the package as it could easily have fallen out or been damaged.
