This version has a large "head" on the key (the triangular portion) and also is silver in color and not black as in the picture. Both versions are VERY slow on write operations but pretty quick on read. What is really cool though is how its on my keychain and blends in just like a key. It is perfect for carrying important data you may need or even having an impromptu way to transfer data. I would recommend this even though it is a bit slow on the write because of its portability, concealability and just pure cool design.

I guess the LaCie people did their homework on robustness, but I can't help wonder how long the completely expose USB end will remain- living in dusty pockets etc. A nice item, though. Amazon dispatch perfect, as ever. FJ, Dublin.

I purchase this one primary for the look, want to blend in with my keys. However, it is larger then thought. When compare to other USB key, it is actually bigger because of its wide. This makes difficult to plug in vertical USB port on laptop with no bottom clearance.
