good quality but need to apply with care, Pros and Cons...

(5 out of 5) by N. LAI on Apr 15, 2009
I was a bit cynical when I purchased this product after reviewing all the positive and negative feedbacks. I did get a few other screen protectors over the last month or so from local stores and other websites, I give this item a 5 star after my trials on 5 similar items that have failed me and wasted my money. here are some pros and cons on this one...

Pros:
- very good quality. it's definitely not flimsy like the one I got from an other site. I actually can hold and control the sheet better which made the application much easier!
- Fits perfectly! OMG, what a relief! I was so frustrated with the one I had to trim to fit.
- It stayed on. (I had one that kept falling off!)
- Instruction is clear. The paper sticker is attached to the thin plastic sheet (1 on each side protecting the actual screen protector.)
- There's minimal reflections!!! I'm not saying no reflection at all, but much better than the thin one I got before. I have bad eye sights and it was one of my main concerns.
Con:
Cleaning the screen is crucial!!! I used very little warm water soaked soft cloth to clean my screen very well and let it air dry... DO NOT use dry tissue paper to wipe it dry, you'll get "invisible" lint left on the screen which u can't see until the screen protector is in place, then, it's painful to pull it back and almost impossible to remove the lint on the sticky side.

My biggest tip for everyone is to clean the screen very well!!! I'm leaving this one on for sure! Btw, I purchased my screen protector with this company, it seems that there're many others people selling the similar products and using the same pictures for the product... I'm a bit confused, just want to clarify.

It was a little work

(3 out of 5) by S. Greiner on Apr 7, 2009 (Edmond, OK USA)
I did have some problems getting it to go on but after some work and using the card and cloth included in the kit, I was able to get it to be smooth and lacking bubbles.

Did not like this!

(2 out of 5) by Tammy L. Hall on Aug 11, 2009 (Florida, USA)
I was thrilled to finally find a good review on a clear screen protector so I purchased this one. I did not care for it at all. It was easy enough to place, but I could not get all the bubbles out no matter how many times I tried, even when using the plastic edge they included. The reflection and glare is just to much to deal with when reading in any type of lighting. Took it off after 10 minutes of reading and went back to my unprotected screen. If you like shiny surfaces on your reading screens, this is for you. Otherwise I don't recommend it!

Difficult Application... Any Kind of Dusts will equal Bubbles

(2 out of 5) by darkguardian2 on Oct 29, 2009 (San Diego, CA United States)
Makes sense to purchase a screen guard for my new Kindle. After receiving the product, I read the easy three step instructions and performed the task. What the instructions don't say is this should be applied in a very dust free area. Any drifting particles that comes in contact with the adhesive side will form a bubble about 5 mm diameter. Also, the guard isn't squared I had to trim a corner off in order to let it lay flat. It turned the pristine Kindle screen into a crappy one. I applied and reapplied it to get rid of every bubble but it just picks up more dust and gets worst. I can't recommend this product but it does the job of protecting the screen. I finally decide to do without it. It was too much of a distraction plus it added glare to the screen. I will be looking at the screen for hours at all the imperfections and blisters. A waste of money.

The glare was awful.

This only lasted about an hour on my Kindle because the glare was awful- I just couldn't get used to it.
