First HD monitor I've owned and am very happy with the picture and sound this unit provides. Sharp, crisp picture and easy to get up and running (plug in power, plug in choice of cable -VG, DMI or HDMI - and your off and running.
Possible downsides for this monitor 1.) no height adjustment (there is tilt control), and 2) an HDMI cable is not included with the package (VGA and DMI cables are included). Since HDMI cables are available online for as little as $.01 (shipping @ $6.00), this is not too big of a deal.
All in all, great bang for your computing buck.

easy set up, amazing quality
replaced old monitor 20" with this hd one. Amazing brillance and sharpness. Does have some reflective issues in bright light, but well worth the small inconvenience.
Excellent Monitor. I am impressed
Just purchased this monitor to replace a good but 3 year old Samsung with 3:4 format. I am very impressed with the HP and happy that I selected it. The images are crisp and colors are great. Some HP monitors I have looked at seem to present a "washed out" picture. Not this one. It is bright and intense.
I paired this with a new ATI/Visiontek Radeon HD 4670 with 1 GB DDR memory. Not the most expensive card in the world but an excellent fit with this monitor. I don't do a lot of gaming or watch HD movies but I feel that with this monitor and the HD card I am getting an extremely high resolution viewing experience with all apps.
Two minor nits: the monitor does not pivot on the horizontal axis although it does pivot a little vertically.
Also, could not connect a DVI-HDMI cable and make it work. Had to use straight DVI but I will try this again.
Highly recommend.

Monitor is great ... comes only with DVI cable
The monitor is really nice. My only complaint is regarding the connection cable. I have a laptop with only vga out. This monitor came with DVI cable. It was an inconvenience to buy a VGA cable from PC Liquidators for $5. If you try to buy from bestbuy its $29 and other online shops would ship it for $12. But the bottom line is you will have to wait for about a week before you can use this monitor.

Does this computer pivot?
One reviewer, M. Gunderson "Electronics geek," says this computer has the capability to be pivoted and used in portrait/vertical position although they "haven't tried it yet." I cannot find anywhere in the technical details on Amazon or HP.com that this computer can be used in portrait orientation. Can anyone who has this computer confirm whether or not it has this capability? (Please disregard the star rating I provided; a rating was required in order to send this).
