(5 out of 5) by Rusty on Oct 25, 2009 (Michigan)I really like this monitor. The colors are perfect. I did need to get a new video card because my old card did not support the 1920 by 1080 resolution.
The sound is good but not great. I use it though because it enabled me to get rid of the wires that connected my old speakers.

Crisp Picture, Good Sound, Easy Setup - Very Happy

Drabick on Oct 24, 2009 (Washington, DC)I purchased this monitor for use w/ my Dell XPS M1330 laptop to use it for home-office purposes as well as for online video viewing, surfing, etc. It works great for both. The wide screen is great for working on multiple documents at the same time, and the picture is great for videos. It was easy to set up, and the HDMI connection enables me to output both video and audio to the monitor (which has decent speakers) w/ one cable. I'm very happy with this monitor.

Impressive Monitor

A very powerful monitor
(5 out of 5) by Raven on Oct 1, 2009 (Chicago Illinois)You will not be disappointed with this monitor. I don't have an HDTV I can't afford to buy one right now with no job. So I saved up for three months until I finally had the money to buy this item.
What I will say this monitor is simply stunning! I have my PS3 and my HD-DVD Player hooked up to it. I replaced a very old Dell CRT Monitor. I still use my old computer tower via VGA it still looks great. The true power is when you use an HDMI cable. Very simple buy a three dollar HDMI cable and you are good to go.
Movies never looked better especially in HD even my burned DVD-R looks good on this monitor upscaled. All I do is for instance burn a movie from an HD source and play it on the monitor through my PS3 upscaled and it looks great.
I highly recommend this monitor to anyone who can't afford an HDTV at the moment. 1080p looks amazing at this size and the volume is loud as well. Some people say the volume is low I blasted it quite a few times and it was quite loud to me.
I highly recommend it no problems whatsoever. Buy it you won't be disappointed.
