Excellent picture and a good price.
(4 out of 5) by W. Hohauser on Oct 27, 2009 (NYC)Works great with my Mac. The clarity and image quality are excellent and the price is incredible. The main drawback is the limp speaker system. While glossy screens are an issue in the computer world right now I found that using the monitor for computer work was problem free and I didn't notice reflections until trying to watch a show on Hulu. This particular program is normally made with a low atmospheric video level and then the reflections on the glossy front started to compete with the image. My older matte Viewsonic LCD on another computer plays this program fine. I'll recommend this monitor to anyone.

Easy to set up, clean crisp images, great color.

Salesmen denied that it mattered but this screen has by far the clearest, sharpest picture of them all. I saved exactly $50 buying it at Amazon and it was delivered 3 days later at 8 P.M. after a long day. By 8:45, I had it up and running, packing materials picked up and I live alone, so no help with any of this. The stand is part of the monitor, no assembly required, just two plugs to navigate plus an audio cord. Exceptional picture quality, fast response time.
One minor comment - the screen is very reflective. It doesn't bother me, but others might object.

Excellent Monitor

I'm not very tech savvy, but I purchased this monitor to replace the HP vs17e that came with my desk top. I needed something wider to give me more working room in Adobe Lightroom 2...and boy does it help out! Colors are great, vivid blacks, fine type is clear, and easy to read. I did tweak the standard settings to get the contrast and brightness to please me.
I didn't even hook up the audio as I use a Logitech 5 speaker system.
I highly recommend it for the money!
