works just fine

This ink works as well as the Cannon ink, but three times less money. The other reviewers are right, wear rubber gloves when opening and installing the tanks. It's not but a drop in a couple of the packages, but printer ink stains deep and bright. The drop or two in the package does not affect the ink's performance. Try it, you'll like it.

NO chips. DOES NOT WORK.

(1 out of 5) by K on Aug 8, 2009 (Maryland)
The ink tanks I was sent did not include chips and DID NOT WORK with my printer. They included instructions on how to swap the chips from your old tanks but that did not work correctly. They also leaked like crazy compared to the Canon branded ones I've bought in the past and made a HUGE MESS.

ink review

I was skeptical because of the inexpensive nature of this product. But these cartridges went in my printer without a hitch and I had no problem with excess ink coming out.... will definitely use this product again!

Do not order- an inky mess awaits you

(1 out of 5) by f march on Aug 16, 2009
Of the five cartridges, the blue left a trail of ink on my table, printer, and inside the printer (and I thought I was being clever by not getting ink on my hands after reading the other reviews warnings). The magenta also left a trail of ink inside the printer, and even though the packaging looked exactly like the others, the cartridge itself was completely different. It still fit, but it did not look like the others. The yellow cartridge I haven't unwrapped yet, but it is only half full, the small black I haven't unwrapped yet, so who knows, but the large black cartridge looks like it exploded inside it's plastic bag.
I wish I could add a picture to this review to show you what I saw when I opened up the packaging, but suffice to say, there is no way this could possibly be opened without getting ink EVERYWHERE, It would be pointless anyway, as based on the sheer amount of ink that's outside of the cartridge in the plastic wrapping, there surely can't be much left inside the cartridge.
Spend a few bucks more, don't get something unusable and damaging like these cartridges.
BTW, anyone have any idea how to clean pools of ink from the inside of a printer????
