M-edge is a company you do not find very often. They believe in customer service.

I ordered my Kindle and the executive jacket in December. I was happy to receive the Kindle 2 at the beginning of March... I was unhappy to learn that the jacket I received in December didn't fit my Kindle 2.

I contacted M-edge the same day I received my Kindle. They responded by the next morning and gave me clear directions on how to exchange the the Kindle 1 jacket for the Kindle 2 jacket. I did have to wait a few weeks for them to fill the order, but I think it was worth the wait.

The jacket is well constructed and the Kindle seems well protected. The jacket currently has a very strong smell (similar to a marker), but I am sure that will fade in a few days. I also ordered the Kindle light and it fits securely and exactly as M-edge presented the item.

Between the quality of the products M-edge is providing and their willingness to help out a customer 3 months after purchase, I really have to give them a huge KUDOS!!

The cover is not tall enough and the Kindle sticks out of the top edge.

Although I really like the color and the feel of this cover, I was most surprised when it arrived and the Kindle 2 does not really fit well in it. The bottom part of the Kindle 2 sticks out and I found it difficult to set in the corner hoops (and I'm not the fumbling fingers type). Because of the fit, I will give it a one star - too bad, because it will probably be difficult to find such a nice looking cover for this price.

I received my M-edge Executive Jacket in the Red color and I was very impressed! Being somewhat on the anal side I thought I might find something wrong with it . . . but I can't find a single thing to complain about. The craftsmanship on this jacket is excellent. The rich leather and beautiful deep red color make for a gorgeous jacket! The stitching is very nice and tight. I read a previous review of the jacket not aligning correctly when closed and that must have been a lemon because mine closes perfectly aligned.

I'm waiting for the release of the m-edge companion booklight so that I can complete my Kindle2 outfit. I'm sooooo happy!!!

Unlike the others on this review page, I think that the fit of this cover on my Kindle 2 is atrocious. I had to practically pry the Kindle into the leather corner holders and even then the cover does not fit properly so that it sticks out over the Kindle in one spot and is short in others. Buy at your own risk. Seems rather pricy for something that does not fit properly.
