This is the most amazing camera ever! I bought it for my vacation and was able to capture such amazing shots with it. To all of the others who complain about the way the camera works - you just have to know how to press the botton correctly (i.e. see the manual for directions but its not hard). With a small child who loves to take pictures, this camera is very durable. The fact that there is no lense cover does not make a difference. You just have to wipe the water from it here and there when taking "dry" photos.

I love this new camera! It takes beautiful pictures...in water or out of water. I bought it to take pictures of places we go on our SeaDoo's mostly. I have tried it underwater for some shots...and they were very clear. I also took some outdoor wedding pictures..and they turned out great! I was worried about dropping my new camera when I was on my SeaDoo at the lake...so I put one of those boat key floats on the strap...and also a "croakie" that I had on hand for my sunglasses. Between the 2 of them...my camera now floats...which was a big concern to me. When you are on a Sea Doo...there is not a whole lot of room to avoid dropping the camera in the water..now, I am not worried about it...my camera will float..."just in case"..I had a few smudgy pictures where I had put BullFrog sun block on...and then pulled out my camera while on the water from its case..so I will be careful next time I use it to wipe the smudges off the lense after re-applying BullFrog. I only used it for the first time last week...but so far, am very pleased with it and the quality of pictures it takes. I almost bought the Olympus 550...but am so glad I paid a bit more for this Canon. Gorgeous pics! Can hardly wait to use it some more!

This Canon PowerShot takes GREAT pictures underwater. I have enjoyed it in our pool! It also takes great pictures out of the water as well!! I love it!!

This is a great camera for active people or anyone who is just a little clumsy.
It has all the regular features of a Canon PowerShot with the added advantage of being very sturdy!
It is a little bulkier than other PowerShot models, but it's worth it to me to have a waterproof and shock resistant camera.

I got compliments all week long on my new camera. Took it to a family vacation on the lake. We all went off a rope swing and it was great to get action shots from the water. I love not having to worry about getting it wet. Not only that, but the picture quality is perfect and the screen is very big. I love my new camera!
