I needed a land line phone for my home office but did not have a jack in the room. After checking all the reviews I ordered this unit. It was a breeze to set up and the sound quality was better than my hard wired phone. I have even used it outside working around the house.

I was a little disappointed in the sound quality of this phone..especially since Consumer Reports rated it highly.

I bought the at&t 2-phone set to replace my aging single wireless phone. The second phone is handier than I imagined it would be as I can carry it, even outside, and get decent call coverage. And if I forget to return it to the charger, the base unit remains charged. The speaker feature, which I never before wanted because of the poor sound quality, is nice for when you are put on hold (you can do other stuff without having to hold the phone to your ear). We've had this phone for one month and feel it was a good buy.

This is a great phone. Intuitive to use and program. I like how programming a number into one handset automatically stores it in the other. It has something like 10 different ring tones, something for everybody. Has good range, and the sound is pretty good. Now I have an excuse to get caller ID. This phone was highly rated by Consumer Reports, (which is why I bought it), and deservedly so.

Although I am not a fan of AT&T at all...this phone is very good for the price. The sound quality and clarity is very good as well as having a good range away from the base. I would buy again. I just wish it wasn't an AT&T product.
