Good Product for the Price

We bought this MP3 for our Son who is 10. He just loves it very easy to download music. It is a very good starter MP3. He loves it so that makes us happy!!

Not worth the money

The navigation control are ridiculous, its to hard to navigate from music to radio. It seems one has to turn off the mp3 player to select the radio if you are already running music. The photo quality is very bad if you upload pictures on this mp3 player, Giving 2 star for music.

My son thinks he has an Ipod... He doesn't know the difference and I didn't have to pay all the money for him to drop it over and over...

DO NOT BUY THIS!

(1 out of 5) by AynRandLives on Jan 25, 2010 (Cape Coral, FL USA)
I bought this from Electronic Express through Amazon. The item was defective upon arrival. I called EE for a refund. They refused because I did not have the original packaging, and told me to call Coby. I called Coby and they said their policy is NO REFUNDS, only exchanges. I don't want an exchange. I needed a MP3 right away to listen to some bar review lectures so I bought a Samsung which works perfectly, and I bought it at a local Target in case there is some problem. Since Coby does not stand behind its products, I strongly urge you to skip this purchase and buy one from a reputable manufacturer. I filed a claim with Amazon's A-to-Z manufacture program. Let's see if I get my refund.

SImple Operation

(5 out of 5) by M. Connelly on Jan 16, 2010
My daughter wanted this for Christmas, but for $40 I knew I could do better. So while at the store the other day, I saw these being cleared out for $10. I would have bought more but only 1 was left. I bought it with the intention of selling it for a profit but then thought for 10 bucks I should just let my daughter have it. ANything happens to it then no real loss.

Well I loaded some music on it from my PC and converted some DVD's very easily and loaded it all and my daughter loves it. The wife also thinks it's cool and so do I. WHile I would never spend $40 for it, it is easily worth 20 or so. So if you can get it at a good price, go for it. While I don't think the video review was lying about dropping it, I'd wager the screen got knocked into something, causing it to not work correctly. But who knows, I've been wrong before. As I said, for $40 no way. But for 20 , go for it.
