Why wouldn't you buy this?

Considering how easy I go through these chargers (I use my laptop probably 80% of my waking hours, both at home and while traveling), why would I buy the more expensive one? I could replace this four or five times (and probably will) before meeting the cost of the HP one. And they send you a little mousepad. The only downside to the whole transaction was that I wish I could have used my Amazon Prime.

Surprisingly good product.

My old HP cord was on it's last legs so I took a risk and ordered this one instead, not sure what to expect, but it's actually almost identical to the old one and works just fine. The main difference I could see was the fact that the old HP cord seemed to be a bit thicker, but I don't think that will be a problem. Definitely the way to go, don't overpay for the HP replacement. I highly recommend this.

This is the 1st time I 've had to buy a replacement DC adpater for myself.
The HP original was poorly designed because it left too much play that caused stress on the internals & its replacement was too expensive for the "re-do".
The secondary replacement is everything the HP isn't: fit, finish, price, & fast delivery.
