We absolutely love this camera - great picture quality and very easy to use. It holds up very well to multiple users and kids with the "dropsies". And it is great to have the underwater feature.
So far we have been very pleased with our purchase.

I took the camera on vacation and captured some great shots, even the underwater shots. I think it is a great value.

The Olympus Tough 8000 is the most sturdy, durable, waterproof and impressive sport 12MP camera I have used.
It takes fantastic underwater pictures and video.
I definitely recommend this camera.
The price was amazing (~$300).

I bought this camera because I knew I was going to Costa Rica to freedive/snorkel and I am very pleased with it. I never had to worry about it at all. I was definitely down 30+ ft. a few times with no problems. I just slipped it into my wetsuit through the neck opening and forgot it was there until I saw something worth shooting. The pictures/videos came out great and I can't wait til my next trip to Marathon Key, Florida to use it again. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants quality underwater photos/videos. Here is a youtube link for the videos I took underwater in Costa Rica. After you click on one you can click on see more videos to see the rest. Enjoy!
