I actually used it attached to my portable laptop in mirror mode as a display to demonstrate an internet project to a professor.

Avoid if you own a Macintosh

And, if you want the touchscreen function enabled, you have to pay $30 for a 3rd-party driver sold by MIMO. Yes, that's right, $30 for the monitor driver. No driver in the box.
IMO, it doesn't matter if a product is innovative when the manufacturer is deceptive. Mac owners, look at the Samsung USB monitors instead, or wait for a better product.
