I bought two of these from BBuy, one is my primary monitor at work, the other serves as a gaming screen for my PS3. Keep in mind this is a monitor, NOT a TV. That means no component, no composite - only the regular computer inputs (VGA, DVI) and HDMI. The benefit of that arrangement is that you'll automatically get the best quality, period, but that also means not to expect to play any over-the-air TV broadcasts. If you have cable with a box that supports HDMI, you can use this with that setup as well.

Definitely worth the money, although I got mine for just shy of 180 bucks.

I bought this monitor to hook up to a Dell desktop that I have ordered but don't have yet. My plan is to run two of these monitors but was a little short on money being a college student so I am waiting to get the second. I will be using these monitors for Cartography/GIS work and the large display and high screen resolution are going to be great for working with Orthophotos and maps. As mentioned by many others the sound quality is not the greatest but sound is not issue for me because I have always hooked my computer up to a stereo anyway. The colors are crisp, the price is cheap, and the screen is huge. My only problem I have had with this monitor so far is trying to hook it up with HDMI to my girlfriends Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop. The video works perfectly on the monitor but I can't get any sound through the speakers on the monitor. After some research online there seems to be some problem with the Dell Inspiron 1525 laptops and not even having the option to output sound through HDMI. That is easily worked around by hooking it up either VGA or DVI and using the supplied audio cable. I am now using it on my Lenovo laptop and am loving it. Hopefully I will have enough room on my desk for two of these though.lol

Highly recommend this Acer H233H monitor, no dead pixels or anything. I received in 2 days once it shipped.

Pros:

-very stylish
-touch sensitive buttons are easy to "push" unlike the Samsung 2494HM one I currently have
-price
-colors are fantastic

Cons:

-none really except it takes a few seconds to wake up from sleep mode
-speakers are weak but who uses monitor speakers nowadays ??

This monitor is all that is advertized to be. It is soo bright and clear, a pleasure to view.

Before i got this tv, i did a lot of research and read lots of reviews. First of all its amazing and the fact that it was a plug and play for my mac tower. It has 5 custom color settings on the torch screen which gives it a classy sleek finish. I got the Acer 23" H233H and not ACER ET.VH3HP.001 23-Inch LCD Monitor. Amazon's error with link to review. I am abit of a picky person but i will tell you this it is GREAT! and I LOVE it.
