It works great and I'm very pleased with this purchase. It is quite a bit smaller physically than most flash sticks. With something this large of a capacity (32 Gb), it does far more than just transfer files. It winds up being a long term storage device as well. Consequently, be sure to make back-ups of data that you keep on it.

Great Little Accessory
I bought the HP 8GB USB flash drive as a replacement for an older, smaller flash drive (my requirements were putting too much strain on the older drive). I thought, "$15.99 for 8GB of transportable storage? I can't go wrong with that." And you know what? I didn't go wrong. I've been using this drive now for a few weeks and have been quite happy with it. I'm even running a database from it at work and I honestly can't see much loss with regard to response time. I would definitely consider HP flash drives in the future.

I WAS CHEATED OUT OF 1GB OF MEMORY!
What the frack! The website said 16gb flash drive. It even says 16GB on the drive, yet I could only get 15GB on the flash. If your gonna advertise 16gbs then there should be 16gbs of memory. Aside from that it works just fine.

HP is a lousy company
I purchased this recently from amazon. Amazon sent it quickly & well packed.
The cover is cheap plastic & barely attaches to the back of the drive when in use. In a couple of days it fell off. i am attempting to contact HP for a replacement cap. I have spent an hour being passed around India with no end in site. My recommendation, by anything else than HP.
