I know this cause like a clutz I dropped mine on the floor in my accounting class at my university, that was about three months ago, and there is nothing wrong with my MBP. Also it's reasonable price, and it comes in cool colors. But It is just a tad bit too big for the current gen MBP, not sure about the prev gen. Defiantly worth your money if your looking for a great laptop sleeve that can take a beating.
Perfect fit for Asus UL30VT

I was never careless with the old one, but I'd stick it in my Targus Backpack, and take it to work and on trips, and I guess that just took its toll over a few years. This time, though, I looked around for something to protect it more and after some looking and reading and even some product testing in stores, I thought this would do the trick. So I placed the order here.
It was a good choice. I'm very happy with the design, and I like the way that the casing material combines solidity with flexibility and shock absorbing power. It should work great as an inner lining for almost any bag that your notebook would fit into. It works perfectly in my Targus bag. It also works great as a "lap protector" - I put it on my lap and lay the computer on top of it. (That was critical with my older Macbook pro, but as far as I can tell the newer model rarely gets hot...)
It doesn't really work, it should be noted, as a standalone bag, since there'd be no place to store the adapter and plug, and there isn't any way to attach a strap to this. For what I need it for, though, it's just right.
