If you need a warranty and can't afford the high cost that the stores offer check out SquareTrade they are affordable and They have great service.

I contacted Square Trade and they quickly emailed me a return shipping label. I sent the player back and received a "no hassle" refund for the full amount of the player in less than a week. I will buy extended warranties for all small electronics from now on!

I submitted my claim to SquareTrade, the next day I had an email with advise. When that did not work they sent me an email with a postage paid priority label and in 6 days I had a paypal refund for the full amount that I paid for it.
I will buy SquareTrade warrenties on everything that I purchase from now on.
