Works perfectly with my older laptops USB port

I have a Dell latitude that's a couple of years old and the port isn't 2.0 but this cable still worked perfectly!

Mutipurpose USB 15' 2.0 cable

It is always good to keep at least one of these around, because you never know when you will need one of them. If you work on your own systems as I do, having an extra cable like this is a real adavange.

15-Foot USB A/B Cable for my printer is cheaper and easier than getting a wireless printer

(5 out of 5) by ruel on Apr 3, 2009 (California, USA, Earth)
I bought this 15-foot long USB cable with Male A and Male B connectors from 'YourCableStore' here on Amazon for $5-something dollars. Cheap price! The Male-B end of the USB cable goes into the printer and the Male-A end of the cable goes into the computer. And it works. Already had a 6-foot cable, but that's not long enough for what I was setting up. I moved our older Epson Stylus 777 printer to a spot on top of a nice box stand against a wall in the dining/living room area and stretched out the printer's six-foot cable which was long enough for a laptop at the nearest end of the table near the printer, but not long enough for a laptop at the other end of the table. The new 15-foot USB cable was the solution and is cheaper than getting a wireless printer server or a new wi-fi printer. I did the math and looked at the costs of a possible wi-fi printer to get, checked out how much the ink would cost, guessed at how often I may have to buy ink, and wondered why get a new printer when we already had a printer. Why get a NEW printer with more expensive ink to buy? Anyways, the ink for our older Epson Stylus 777 printer is super cheap nowadays to get on Amazon here. So, getting the longer 15-foot cable, to replace the old shorter 6-foot cable, was the solution to have anyone in the house going over to the table to quickly connect a laptop to do a print. Thanks for reading.
