The product worked as advertised for about 2-3 months then the remote switch would stop working intermittently, then not at all. I checked the batteries and the frequency code and both were fine, I then tried to turn on the remote devices with the small button located on the strip (kinda defeating the purpose) and this too had no effect. Belkin replaced the unit and so far I've had no problems. Hopefully mine was a rare problem.

Was waiting for it to come out and ordered it.
It is really great, works as described, going to need 4 more for the house.

One con is the wall mount does not come with the screws, and the 2-8 should be 4-6. and a bit more spaced out.

Nothing is perfect, but once you get it you will love it.

I use this surge protector on my desktop computer, not a home theater. It works as designed and is simple to install. The outlets are rather closely spaced so if you have more than a couple of "block" power plugs, it probably won't work for your system.

I just started using this product. I really like the remotes. I place the one for the computer and accessories on the corner of the desk. When I am done I just push the button and that is the end of wasted electricity. I haven't found a permanant place for the one for the tv, but I like the fact that I don't even have to find the remote for the tv, cable box etc. Just one button and everything is off. I will not be able to say how much I saved since this is a new place for me, but I did give a couple as a gift for Christmas and both have said they've seen a drop in their electric bill.

great product, save energy, money and the climate. Remote controls makes it easy. Has two always on outlets. Own both sizes of this product.
