light saber

Excellent build. Pressure button for power source. I'd say probably 35-40mW at most---pot can probably be modded for a few more mW's. Green dot visible in the day. Beam highly visible at night..and especially in fog..Excellent for pointing at stars, or distant object in the dark

disappointing

I went off reviews by others before buying this item. Once received I was very disappointed. It just felt poorly constructed, it rattled when moved or shook & had dimmer output than a 5mW unit I already had! Needless to say it has been returned for a refund. Don't bother with it & save yourself the frustration.

Never Received.

My HDE 50mW Green Laser

(5 out of 5) by Lori Davis on Jun 24, 2009 (OH USA)
I've read all of the reviews for this product, from this seller. I bought one saturday and recieved it tuesday. I recieved the laser, two AAA Tianqui Alkaline batteries, a nice black cardboard case with a magnetic clip and a black foam inside holder. The laser body is metal and rubber of nice quality. The laser beam is NOT visible in daylight. The beam is FAINTLY visible in a moderately lit room, and PERFECTLY visible in a dim/dark room. The dot hurts your eyes to look at on a wall or floor. It is visible on light colored surfaces no more than 100 ft. in broad daylight. On darker colored surfaces, it can reach them in broad daylight at about 250 ft. It makes birds fly away and small animals run if you bring it near them. BE CAREFUL, as I said, it hurts your eyes to look at off of a surface, so therefore you should NEVER point it at anyone or any living things eyes unless you want to cause possible permanent eye damage.
If you have any questions about the laser, or about how it is performing at the present, you can e-mail me at reiddavis@horizonview.net.

50mw laser

(3 out of 5) by JR on May 18, 2009 (Connecticut, USA)
a 50mw green laser will not light a match sorry. 75-95mw is where u can start to light matches but i highly doubt these lasers are 50mw since my true 30mw can easily pop ballons and my 50mw from amazon has problems poping a ballon. and none of them can light a match.
