Installed easy and works fine. Not a full featured NAS, lacks full permission control on files. As a media server it works fine. I previously owned the Linksys NAS200 which was horrible. I think this is better, but I would have preferred a full featured NAS.

My Media Hub was there when I got home yesterday. After dinner I set that puppy up. I usually just throw out the setup CD and log right into the device and configure it. I decided this time to follow the instructions as I was replacing an older NAS and wanted to use the backup utility that comes with the product. The setup went by very quick, walked me through pretty much all the main device features. Right before I went to bed I checked and made sure that I was able to play a video via my Xbox 360 onto my TV.....Can't wait to watch our video clips tonight. This morning I called my sister in Colorado and provided the info for her to login into remotely and view some pictures from my wife and I recent trip to Maui. She is now at work listening to my music collection! The card readers that come with this device really helps with importing pictures from our cell phone memory cards. That was one of the reasons I choose this model.

I work in the IT industry and this still gave me headaches to setup. I've been using a windows home server (home built) for quite awhile and it's a much simpler and easier to use system for backups and media streaming/remote access.
