My wife was always tenuous with her iPhone for fear she'd break it, and sure enough, one day it happened. We went to the Apple Store for a replacement and asked the guy for a case recommendation. He said "Otterbox" without a second's hesitation, so we ordered it from Amazon.

This thing is SOLID. Now my wife uses her iPhone the way it's meant to be used. I wish we'd bought one of these when she got her iPhone in the first place...

Love the product! It was a little bulkier than I thought it would be but it's great and really protects my investment!

I have already dropped my phone from waist height 4 times in the month that I've had this case, and my iPhone is still perfect. So A+ on protection and durability. However, I'd also like to note that every one of those drops was caused by the belt clip not holding tightly. It's never a problem when I ride my bike, even on bumpy terrain, but as soon as something brushes it the wrong way (taking on/off my backpack, or a tree branch), the phone falls out easily.
I also have a problem with the screen. It looks like an "oil slick" as others say. I tried the manufacturer's solution of rubbing face oil, but that didn't work. I have not yet tried baby powder, but I think I'm going to buy an anti-glare coating to fix it.

Although the case adds some bulk, I feel that the extra weight, which is minimal, is well worth the protection. I don't worry about dropping it (which I've done), laying it down on wet surfaces (which I've also done), or small collisions (what can I say, I'm a klutz).

My iPhone is an investment, I can't really afford to buy a replacement. If you're in the same boat, you'll be happy with this case.

The iPhone has no warranty against physical damage. The Otterbox provides the best protection against physical damage I know of.
