The first one worked great for about 3 hours, then locked up as though it was shorted out. All the light were flashing on and off, and I had to pull the AC cord to shut it off.

The second one has been working well, both with my Iphone and as an aux speaker for my laptop computer. Amazon handled the return and reshipment flawlessly. I would rate it higher if I wouldn't have had to buy two to get one working unit.

Worked great for a few days, then stopped working. Couldn't turn it on unless it was plugged in, and battery wouldn't take a charge.

Is awesome, period! I had a cheap system before and hardly used it because it was so awful sounding. I researched for a long time before finally purchasing the InMotion MAX based on numerous reviews (editorial and buyers). We LOVE it!! It sounds great, is easy to move around, use with iPod, iPhone, FM radio or Aux in for our full iTunes library. The music is always on in our house now and everybody's dancing. Thanks Altec for a great product. No complaints with Seller experience either, in fact it came faster than the email updates did. Less than a week from order to door.

This worked amazingly well for the first few timesi used it.
I was so excited abotu having it in my life. I mean really.

And then...

the battery died while playing music (which had happened before because i was using it so much) So I plugged it in to charge it.
Then it started flashing lights, and the volume went all the way up to max on its own. It told me to reset. I didn't see a reset button anywhere, so I unpluggged and tried again. Kept doing this.

I almost got it to work one more time, but then the ERROR came up again. That's when i decided I will jsut go to Best Buy and get something that i can return myself in the event it craps out on me again.

Oh, the remote NEVER worked either, which i was planning to sort out later, but since the unit never worked again, what was the point. I hardly had this for 2 weeks. Not the life span i was going for.

maybe my unit was faulty? but it seemed fine at first. What the heck? I'm VERY disappointed and a bit annoyed.

Got this in late January and it stopped palying sound in May. Still lights up and charges iPods, but no sound. While it worked, the sound was very good for the size. Maybe I got a bum unit-very disapointing.
