This thing is awesome!!

The speakers are both 5 watts and they sound great. The item is super easy to use and the design is fabulous. I really enjoy this speaker set-up.

Not well-suited for iPhone

Once the ipHone is seated on the docking station, the recess makes it quite difficult to press the "home" button to switch between iPhone applications. I bought it mainly to use as a source for streaming music from NPR stations and with Pandora, and so this made it quite difficult to use. I suspect that the same problem may well exist for other similar systems with a built-in docking station.
I've returned this system and will replace it with a simple set of powered speakers.

Nice Sound and good design

Excellent purchase!

I thought these were VERY reasonably priced and decided to give them a try. I am so pleased! The sound is great. I love that I can charge my iPod (and my son's and my daughter's) on it, and finally I have a "mini stereo" in my kitchen....or anywhere I want to put it.

Speakers blew me away
