I bought these as a mothers day present, and while they sounded decent when initially used, they started getting a lot of static after a few days and stopped playing after about a week. They shouldn't have blown out either, since the volume was not very high. I sought out an Altec Lansing IM5 as a replacement present, which works very well.

These little speakers fit in my pocket and are perfect for my professional clowning. I work in nursing homes, assisted living and in schools doing clowning. I pod and speakers travel well in a compact space.

I attached my iPhone to these speakers and played some music. The sound quality was very bad. It was tinny and a little painful. The speakers on my laptop were better. The workmanship of the speakers was okay, though one of the speakers didn't open and close properly. The color was very good, very rich shade of red. The size was excellent, tiny and easily transportable. But these properties are peripheral to the real job that I want a set of speakers for.

These little speakers are a great way for me to get more use out of my shuffle. I use the shuffle for wokring out but with these speakers I have been able to use it at work, on my desk, in our hotel room on vaca and on the patio. Easy to set up, transport and store. Now if I could only stop my son from borrowing them for his ipod touch

Great little speakers for your iPod. Better than carrying around a big old ghetto blaster like back in the 90's!!
