The BEST for Adult Braces

(5 out of 5) by Pamala on Nov 1, 2008
I am in love with this portable water pik. I also have the Water Pik brand and the Panasonic beats it on every feature. I can put it together much more easily and the water surge is so much better. I don't even use the Water Pik one - I needed to keep one at the office and one at home because I travel a lot. BUY this Panasonic! I'm sure many people would do what I did and buy the brand name of Water Pik - but it's just a huge mistake. You won't be dissappointed.

Portable Irrigator Great!

(5 out of 5) by D.Best on Dec 11, 2008
I've been using this irrigator for over 2 years. At home I use this to rinse my teeth after brushing. My teeth and gums feel so clean. As food tends to get trapped between my teeth (especially popcorn), I carry one in my purse to use after eating. When out I don't use toothpaste, so I fill it at the restroom sink and swallow remaining bits of food rather than spitting out. It just looks like you're sucking out of a straw!

My efforts are really paying off. On my last visit, our hygenist cleaned my teeth in less time than ever. She said, "You really make my job easier!"

I DEFINITELY recommend this. You'll love it so much that just brushing won't feel as good. If you carry it with you, be careful of the hinged plug. Sometimes it comes off, but can easily be put back on.

Big Winner So Far!

(5 out of 5) by Fred J. Goodman on May 8, 2009 (Montgomery Village, MD)
We have owned the Waterpik and other similar products. The Panasonic product is the best we have used so far. The mere fact of replaceable batteries puts it at the top, but the fact that it is using the battery at a very slow rate is a BIG plus.

I used conventional batteries, but I subsequently have bought rechargables, and I am looking forward to trying that when the current batteries die...

We use the Irrigator in the shower; it is easy to fill, and easy to point the tip in the right direction...

All in all, a big upgrade over other products...

Needed a cordless portable waterpik

(5 out of 5) by Johnnie Estes on Aug 8, 2009
After reading all the previous reviews on cordless water picks I was worried about ordering one. BUT, that was all for nothing as I received it and the pressure is great and I do have to fill it twice to do my teeth but not a problem as I have to fill a counter top twice a lot of times. This was money well spent.

A good product

(4 out of 5) by J. Ormsby on Sep 20, 2009 (San Antonio, Texas United States)
I was a little disappointed when I first opened this irrigator. I had been using a portable WaterPik with a rechargeable battery. I had a lot of trouble with the battery; thus, I decided to change brands. This Panasonic seemed a little less substantial at first; however, I have been using it for over a month now and I like it a lot. I am still on the original batteries so I don't know how long they will last. My only complaint is I am unable to adjust the force of the water flow. I've had periodontal problems for years with sensitive gums; however, my gums have gotten used to the force of the irrigator and it actually feels good. I would definitely recommend this product.
