Best Solution Available Period!!!

(5 out of 5) by Rawn Mashburn on Jun 21, 2009 (Atlanta, GA)
I must admit when I purchased this item I was a bit skeptical. How could a Dual LCD Monitor Stand that supports 22 inch LCDs cost only $40 when other sources cost $150 or more?

I read the reviews and noticed solid feedback. I decided to take a chance. Afterall, I was only risking $40:).

I received my dual monitor stand in about 3 days. The stand is made with quality material. It only took me about 10-15 minutes to assemble and install my 22 inch Acer AL2216W LCDs.

If you have a desk that can use a clamp for installation this is the best solution available period!!! And, it costs 3 to 4 times less than other solutions.

Amazing Value

(5 out of 5) by T. Mclaurin on May 27, 2009 (Chicago)
I was a little skeptical at first... But figured for $40, if it was terrible, I could live with loosing the (company's) money. As soon as I opened the box i was impressed. The mount is heavy gauge steel, and the desk attachment is rock solid. The arms have no play in the joints, and articulate smoothly, including rotation. (I have 2x 19" wide screens, one is landscape, the other portrait for looking at long code) I think the rest of my team member are going to want them now. :)

The only 'con' is that the height is fixed. You ahve to loosen a bolt to move the main arm up and down.

What a deal

(5 out of 5) by Jason Wiles on May 19, 2009 (United States)
I just got this installed in my office. What a bargain! Infinitely adjustable and very solid. Not as "sleek" looking as some of the others but then again this cost one fourth the price. It was mostly put together in the box, not a bunch of tiny pieces (they even threw in the hex wrench). This cleared up quite a bit of desk space and it looks pretty cool doing it. Very pleased.

excelent mount, especially for the money

(5 out of 5) by Peter on May 14, 2009
I've been looking for a dual lcd mount for months. Came across a recommendation for this one and immediately jumped on it not knowing what to expect.

Came in a pretty well packaged box. First thing i noticed is how sturdy the clamp bar is. Very well well designed and similiar to those with prices in the 200+. I'm using dual 22inch lcd's here and mounted them onto the arms. Then i placed it onto the desk and wow. I mounted one vertically and one horizontally. The mount allows you to rotate the displays while mounted, so you do not have to worry about mounting in the configuration that you want.

One of the problems i had with this mount is with how far the lcds extend out. My desk is propped against a wall, so there really isn't much room to push the arms back. With the lcds together, they come out from the wall almost a foot. Trying to keep them side by side that is. Otherwise great product.

Pros:
holds up to 2 x 22inch lcds!!!
very well built, almost too well built.
easy mounting instructions.
cheap!

Cons:
arms extend out of desk to keep the lcd's together.
a bit heavy, but needed.

Fantastic stand - and it can be mounted without having to clamp to the bottom side of your desk

(5 out of 5) by Bigun on May 14, 2009 (Folsom, CA)
I will echo many of the points in the other reviews. This stand is inexpensive, very sturdy, easy to set up, looks great, very adjustable. I am using it with two Acer widescreen 22" monitors. And it is great getting the monitors up to eye level, and freeing up space on your desk.

One thing I will add - my desk has a back panel that prevents the use of the mounting clamp. The back panel is 3/4" plywood, and it's pretty sturdy. I was able to drill holes in the back panel of my desk and bought some bolts to securely fasten the base to the desk, without using the bottom clamp piece. Worked fine and not difficult if you're remotely handy. The base seems like it is designed for this type of mount if you choose to do it. My back panel is not quite flush with the back edge of the desk, it is set back 1/4", so I needed to use a few washers between the stand base and the desk back panel. Hope this helps someone.
