Simple and effective
(5 out of 5) by L. Hauenstein on Feb 14, 2009This product worked just as described. It had the appropriate cut outs for the speaker and the buttons at the bottom. It doesn't interfere with the touch screen functionality. Lastly, it was easy to apply.

They give you three because you'll waste the first 2 practicing

It is the correct shape for the screen, and have the correct cut-outs for the speaker and buttons. Also, they do give you three of these. Each is in its own package, so I guess they're meant to be sold as three individual items. But you get three for much cheaper than at your local cell phone store.
The hard part is attaching it. Your screen has to be totally free of dust. it's hard to line up exactly. If you put it down wrong, you can remove it and reattach it. But every time you need to redo it, it will collect dust.
I tried with the first one and kept having to readjust it. If you don't put it on exactly centered, it will ride up on the edge of the phone and won't stick down flat. So I peeled it off and kept getting it wrong. I got so much dust on the sticky side that I couldn't use that cover anymore. Once the sticky side of the cover gets dust on it, you get these big bubbles when you try to put it on.
So I threw that one away, but I got it correct on the second one. So I wasted one, have one on my phone, and still have 1 spare.
Each cover comes with a felt cloth to clean your screen before application. The instructions claim it also comes with a card you should use to get rid of bubbles, but none of mine came with the card. You can use a credit card, but be careful not to scratch the protective cover. I just used my fingers.
And actually, the cover scratches pretty easily. It's a permanent scratch on the outside of your cover. But your actual phone screen is still unscratched. The only option once this happens is to remove that cover and use another one, which is another reason you get three in this package.

Good price But wrong size
