This is a great product. It looks slick, takes up little space and is very quiet. It is nice not having to listen to my old Maxtor drive's loud fan noise and vibration. The LCD light on the front of the drive could be a bit smaller and not as bright. By the way, at the time of this review the 640GB unit actually costs less than the 500GB unit, and they appear to be identical except the capacity.

The company delivered my order in a timely fashion. Setting up, following the directions, and daily use was user friendly and uncomplicated. The "cost vs product specs", for me, turned out to be a "Real value for what I paid". The volume capacity and product features matched and in most cases exceeded comparable products/manufacturers offerings when I did my comparison shopping before purchase. In short, "I'm a happy shopper". Again, as in past experiences dealing through Amazon.com, I was not disappointed! Thanks Amazon.

Shipper did well and the hard drive arrived in great shape. Used it right out of the box(after a warm-up to room temp)and haven't looked back. Size allows storage of anything, including many video dvd's I had stored away. Now I can watch them without searching through a ton of dvd's.
