Like many products, it seems the company executives never went to the store, opened the package and used their product. The little cover you must pry off to install the batteries is poorly planned. It seems the choice is breaking your fingernail or using a screw driver etc. and possibly breaking the product.

I use it in my car because my stereo was stolen and it is great because even the people sitting in the back can hear it. Only thing like in the other reviews is that the on and off switch can be easily turned on if you throw it in your purse. Other than that this speaker is perfect and portable. You wont believe the sound from the size of this thing.

I listen to Sirius Internet Radio on my Wind just about everyday. The internal speaker in the Wind is incredibly bad. Unfortunately most of the portable mini speakers I have tried so far were not much better - some of them were much more expensive too.
These iLuv speakers are simply incredible! The sound is amazing!! Both highs and lows sound very good. The size is a little bigger than I'd like, but they fit fine in my netbook case with my Wind. I'd read all of the previous glowing reviews, but was still skeptical. Hearing is believing with these speakers!
Excellent speakers, decent size, great value. Highly recommended!

Nicely made, adequate sound (No unrealistic expectations prior to purchase) and it runs on 3 AAA's. The sound "output-wise" is better than expected. While distortion is noticed at the high end, it is acceptable at every level but the max.
