Included is a USB cable for charging it with a computer or other 5V 600mA power device that has a USB port. The unit includes a short cable to use the unit to charge a PDA, cell phone, etc. with the included 6 adapters.
I may use mine to keep my Palm Zire 72 PDA charged on the road. I can also use it to charge and power my Grundig G4, AM, FM, 10-band shortwave radio, MPC3 player combo. I've tested it on these and it works fine. I don't use a cell phone - yet.
Actually, while this is a nice unit, I don't know if I'll have much use for it. But I now have it, just in case. . . Maybe someday I'll get a cell phone.
