Extremely Fast!!!!!

(5 out of 5) by Breezy Bring on Jan 27, 2009 (Bellevue, WA USA)
This SanDisk ExtremeIII with the 30MB/Sec speed is extremely fast! I use it on a DSLR with 4.5 frame per second speed and each shot uses about 6 MB of memory. Other memories could not keep up. This one gets the job done! When it's time to upload pictures from this chip to the computer, it's also extremely fast! The extra cost is worth it for sure, if you need the performance and want to save your valuable time. I highly recommend this item to all. Thanks!

There is a difference

(5 out of 5) by Ken H on May 8, 2009 (Michigan)
I was looking for a SDHC card for my newly purchased Nikon D90 camera. I noticed a price difference among Sandisk Extreme III cards and wondered if the specs could tell me why some were more expensive. This one has a transfer rate of 30 MB/sec, while other Extreme III cards are rated at 20 MB/sec. This one is definitely much faster. Sandisk should have a more obvious designation on the card or in the name.

blazing upload speed over my older sd card.
you might have to buy the sdhc reader as i did and needed it due to my "old" reader would not accept it.
great card

Great for my Lumix TZ5

(4 out of 5) by N Wagner on Jul 10, 2009
I needed a good high-speed SD card to record HD video. So far so good, though I have only used it for about a week. Have recorded plenty of HD video clips, and the video turned out pretty well. Using it for pictures, also haven't had the lag time saving pictures to the camera, even at 10MP. Most of the lag is the focusing of the camera in low light situations, but taking a few pics in daylight works great.

Great Card

(5 out of 5) by Jamie C. on Apr 18, 2009 (Florida)
This card is perfect for the average photographer. I use a Canon point and shoot, set at the highest compression and still was able to fit an entire weeks vacation on this card. It uploads quickly, and that is a big plus when it's full. It's a good card and a good buy!
