I had been using computer speakers hooked up to my iPod for a few years and it worked fine...until I tried the Denon dock. SO easy to hook up and SO convenient. I love that it charges the iPod as well. This is a great addition to your Denon home theater
Great Addition to a Home Theater System

Five minutes from out of the box until hooked up, I was listening to my music. I did not need to read the directions. After I hooked it up, I plugged my 2nd generation Nano into it and it loaded all my play lists on my television screen. Navigating through the Ipod menus via the Denon AVR remote is easy. I really like the fact that the dock is black in color. It matches all of my other audio/video hardware. I have a Bose Sound Dock in my living room too, and now I don't use it. I would rather hear my tunes on my main theater system and this dock makes it a breeze. Worth every penny!

Great gadget for the home theater system

It took a little time to figure out the remote on the receiver, but through this docking station I now am able to control my Ipod on my media rooms suround system.
Though the price might be a little steep for some, I would say it is still worth the money.
The device came with all cables and connections where made within minute.
