Disappointed

(2 out of 5) by Frans van Gosliga on Dec 19, 2008 (San Mateo, CA USA)
I had bought the Philips PHDTV1 and was very impressed with the quality of digital OTA broadcasts. I live about 14 miles away from the nearest tower and was able to get 38 channels. I could not get FOX and there was some noise on NBC, which tower is in an opposite direction. So, I decided to try the Winegard SS-3000 instead. It is a lot bigger and amplified as well. I was happy to find out that I could receive FOX this time, but am amazed that the overall quality of most channels is worse than the simple and much smaller Philips PHDTV1, which is almost a third of the price of the Winegard SS-3000, and received only 36 channels (compared to the 38 that the Philips gave). I am returning both products and will try an outside antenna this time. I have ordered the Philips MANT940. I must say it is kind of fun to figure out how to get the best reception.

Junk

(1 out of 5) by Charles T. Cretella on Sep 6, 2009
Quite disappointed. I got five digital channels and two analog stations. Rehooked something called Radio Shack Signal Amplified Signal Finder (It's about 7 years old) and got 12 stations. Don't waste your money. Find something else unless you like to make plastic model airplanes.

Antenna

Even though it was a bear to assemble, this antenna has performed well. I am satisfied with the product, delivery, etc.

Works great!!!

(5 out of 5) by James Baldwin on Apr 7, 2009 (Spokane WA)
Many indoor antennas don't work very good with digital TVs. This one works great. Don't make the mistake of buying a cheep one. This is the BEST you'll find ANYWHERE.

It is a pleasure to enjoy a Product that lives up to its billing ... and a purchasing process that made acquiring it an easy and satisfying experience.
