outstanding bargain

(5 out of 5) by Amazon Customer on Dec 24, 2008 (The midwest)
I bought this because I read that it works well with Linux. It worked exactly as expected although you do need enough tech savvy to download, compile, and install a driver (the open-source RT2870 driver from the Ralink website is the right one). It connected to my Linksys 802.11n router at full speed and very stable. Considering that other manufacturers charge 2-3 times as much for the same thing, and don't have good Linux support, this is a steal.

Works great!!!

(5 out of 5) by G. Powell on Apr 10, 2009 (Elsewhere)
I just started with the latest downloaded drivers(didnt bother with the CD that it came with)
On XP, install the drivers, reboot, plug it in, and enjoy wireless broadband!
Now I did setup my encrypted connection on my router first(so it was ready and I had the key).
Just had to input the required info for my network.
this was my first time dealing with wifi and it worked great first try using the supplied setup software.
Would definitely buy again!
EDIT:
After more use I realized that the range aint that great, ok within a room or 2 away but after 20+feet the signal really drops off. Like I said before, great at short range.

Windows 7 Compatible - Sister Installable

(5 out of 5) by Robert Salita on Apr 12, 2009 (CHI PAR PHX SYD PDX CLD NKC)
I recommended the AirLink AWLL6070 to my sister to replace her notebook's blownout internal wireless card. She reports that it works great with Windows 7 Beta 1. No installation hassels at all. Great product.

So Far So Good

(5 out of 5) by JayCee on Apr 5, 2009
The device is performing as expected so far. I would say it is well worth the price. I have paid a lot more in the past for similar devices from linksys and have had numerous issues with them. This performs excellent and is cheaper than those. Great value for money.

super N-series usb adapter

(5 out of 5) by William B. Rodgers on Aug 9, 2008 (portland, OR)
i bought this little n series sukka at Fry's electronics just because it was the cheapest t'ing around ($20 as opposed to $40 for the Lynksys G adapter). Wow !!! but i'm amazed at how sensitive and fast this little usb wifi adapter is. It's considerably better than the more expensive Lynksys g adapters. True, it may just be the difference between an "n" and a "g" but i'm impressed.
