About a year later, it won't hold a charge
This battery worked fine at first.
However, somewhere along the last 6 months, it has refused to charge to capacity, not going over 55% or so.
Also, it won't run on battery for more than like 20 minutes, making it worthless.
This might be due to me keeping it on the electric power for a long time, I don't know. All I know is, it is not working anymore.
Still, for the price, you might be better off with this than an 'official' HP battery, and if you have one of the HP's with the borked mobo's like I do, and you are on your 3rd replacement mobo, like I am, you don't see much longevity in your computer anyways. :(

dead battery
most unfortunate to receive a dead battery and worst no company replacement. I have spent money and nothing to show for it. ;-C

Replacement Battery for HP DV9000
I am very pleased with the replacement laptop battery. My original battery died while being used when running on 110V power. Seems strange that would happen; the result was that the battery was unusable.
I plan on charging the new battery, then replacing it with the old battery when running on 110V power so that the same thing won't happen to the new battery.
