Not very happy

What I am not happy with is, I returned it for a refund a month ago and to date have not been credited. I am paying interest on an item I returned. Not a very good experience at all.
Don't think I will be purchasing electronics from Amazon anytime soon.

cute but not functional
(2 out of 5) by Roger D. Davis on Sep 18, 2008I purchased this for a grand daughter to use with her college classes. She was very dissapointed with the computer. Her remarks "Grandpa, this is really cute but it doesn't work nearly as good as my old laptop."

No webcam

webcam, although you see that in all pictures, only some models it is installed.
I had to return back one EEE PC 900A because there is no webcam.

Is this better than DELL VOSTRO 1000?
(5 out of 5) by Bettadapura Sharma on Aug 7, 2008 (Portland, OR United States)I am wondering if I should go with VOSTRO 1000 from DELL and install my own choice of Linux (say Ubuntu)? It has 80GB hard disk allowing lot more storage. It also comes with Vista, just in case.
